MOGADISHU (Garsoor Online) – National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has thwarted an improvised explosive device hidden on road in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
The explosive was discovered from Taleh road in the heart of the capital, the Agency’s Twitter account reads.

It said the bomb was meant to mum civilians but being failed “our united in Hodan area”.
The incident comes the capital is going to host presidential election the following days.
Meanwhile, Mogadishu mayor, Joseph Hussein Jim’ale said an embargo will be imposed on the capital, in a bid to secure the election.
The capital has been hit by several suicide bomb attacks claimed by the armed group of Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab militants.
The group also vowed to rump up its attacks in and out of Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
