MOGADISHU (Garsoor Online) – Former Somalia’s ambassador to Kenya, Mohamed Ali (Ameriko) has condemned as “outrageous” Sunday’s deadly suicide bomb attack in Mogadishu.
Parked car laden with explosives went off in crowded market in Mogadishu’s Wadajir district, and killed 35 people and wounded 40 other civilians, some of them said to be seriously.
“I strongly condemn the outrageous terrorist attack in the capital”, said, Mohamed.
“Killing innocent civilians in busy market heinous one”, he added.
“I stand with my people in this difficult time, and will strongly support the new government’s efforts to ensure greater peace, security and justice for its people.” Ali stated.
He was also among several presidential candidates, and he devoted his time to help poor and ordinary people, while in Somalia embassy in Nairobi, Kenya.
This is first attack hit the capital since country’s president was elected as Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.
