BALADWEYNE (Garsoor Online) – Roadside bomb explosion has torn through military convoy carrying Ethiopian troops in central Somalia’s town of Baladweyne, witness said.

The army’s vehicle was hit in the blast after leaving its military camp in El Jalle area. The blast damaged the military vehicle, a witness tells Garsoor Online.

None of them got hurt in the attack, according to local residents.

The blast is thought to be planted by Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab militants, battling with Western-backed government.

No group has claimed responsibility for Saturday’s bomb attack.
