Deadly car bomb kills 7 people in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU (Garsoor Online) – At least seven people have been killed and eight others wounded when car bomb explosion hit busy restaurant in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.

Wednesday’s attack caused a car laden with explosive parked outside a coffee shop close to heavily guarded ministries in the capital, killing at least seven people, police said

The victims included University students whose bus damaged by the blast as it was passing nearby the scene of the explosion.

Police officer, Mohamed Hussein told journalists that all wounds had been taken into hospital, shortly after the bomb attack.

Hussein says the main target of the attack was unclear.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast in the capital city of Mogadishu.

The armed group of Al Shabaab has carried out similar attacks in the capital in the past months.
