MOGADISHU – At least 5 people have been wounded when car bomb hit busy restaurant near popular hotels in Mogadishu.
The Banodo café is close to Presidential Palace in the capital, where deadly car bomb killed at least 5 people and wounded 10 others on Tuesday, said, police officer Ahmed Hassan.
It remains unclear if the blast was aimed at targeting the coffee shop, according to Hassan, who spoke to the journalists at the scene of the explosion.
The victims were taken to hospital, shortly after the blast, a witness said.
Earlier on Friday morning, a little child has been wounded after bomb explosives fitted into vehicle has exploded in Seybiano neighborhood.
The main target of these blasts is yet to be established.
No group has claimed responsibility for the bomb attack but the armed group of Al Shabaab carried out similar attacks in the capital of Mogadishu.
